Hi,
There are lots of complains this past few days regarding the said matter, which is the Scipt Error. It occurs after opening the Ranonline launcher. (IMG:http://i509.photobucket.com/albums/s340/emocutie10/1_415403293l-1-1.jpg) Information about the cause of this issue This issue occurs because the HTML source code for the Web page does not work correctly with client-side script such as Microsoft JScript or Microsoft Visual Basic script. This problem may occur for one or more of the following reasons: • A problem in the HTML source code of the Web page. • Active scripting, ActiveX controls or Java applets are blocked on your computer or on the network. Internet Explorer or another program, such as antivirus programs or firewalls, can be configured to block Active scripting, ActiveX controls or Java applets. • Antivirus software is configured to scan your "Temporary Internet Files" or "Downloaded Program Files" folders. • The scripting engine on your computer is corrupted or outdated. • Internet-related folders on your computer are corrupted. • Your video card drivers are corrupted or outdated. • The DirectX component on your computer is corrupted or outdated. Here are some compiled steps that you could follow incase you have the same problem: 1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options 2. Find the Security tab. This is what it looks like: (IMG:http://i509.photobucket.com/albums/s340/emocutie10/net-security.jpg) The "Internet" setting should be selected. Now click on Custom Level and this is what it looks like: (IMG:http://i509.photobucket.com/albums/s340/emocutie10/settings.jpg) What's marked in yellow is currently what I'm using. 3. Set "Run ActiveX controls and plugins": ENABLE 4. Set "Script ActiveX controls marked as safe for scripting": ENABLE 5. Click on Ok to save the settings. 6. Then click on Ok to close Internet Options. 7. Now try opening the launcher Source: http://forums.e-games.com.ph/index.php?sho...mp;#entry589335 These are Qouted suggestions from GM Vrael and GM Persona and fellow forumers. Hi! Although a downgrade of the OS should only be the last resort, a driver reinstallation of DirectX 9c would suffice. The game (RAN Online) was built for DirectX 9c, but Vista is in DirectX10. Kindly proceed to Microsoft’s DirectX download site to get DirectX9c. One warning though: YOU should backup all your important data before attempting to reinstall your drivers, and make sure that you can restore your PC if the installation messes up. Another thing you should check is the permission settings, if the whole RAN folder is ran as ‘Administrator’. Though that this won’t directly affect the gameplay of the play or the client’s startup, giving the game full access to system resources would undoubtedly ensure its proper runtime. Hope this helps. Thanks! Let's try this. Update your system drivers. Especially this one: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en Try: 1.) Resetting browser settings to default. 2.) Update IE to IE7 3.) Update ALL system drivers (and install useful windows updates) 4.) Update .NET Framework to 2.0 or 3.5 (check www.microsoft.com) 5.) Run the whole folder as Administrator That way we can eliminate the other causes of errors. ^^ http://www.mediafire.com/file/3mfdmnnlhni/...gin_Install.exe pakidownload n lng po nyan at sundan mo ung sinasabi sa technical section dami ng ganyang post dun Note: If you know any steps that might help in solving this problem, please dont hesitate to post it here.
